It’s Cute and Packs Decent Charging Performance
Simply name the best powerbank in the streets, anybody will tell you a famous Chinese brand that sells its powerbanks at an extremely dirt cheap price, however they won’t tell you that is the most beautiful piece of hardware. The Owl Story powerbank here has an extremely cute owl shape design, it also looks like a beautiful stone if you lay it next to one until you find out its two USB charging ports underneath. Best of all, it feels really good on hand and portable enough for you to carry around in your pockets.
Despite having an elegant rough surface, it picks up dirt and scratches easily so you may want to store it in a pouch to avoid any damages to its exterior.
The device isn’t any crappy powerbank that you find in flea markets, it has a battery capacity of 7800mAh and uses Samsungbattery cells, so you can be assured that this isn’t one of those powerbanks that can easily explode.
Similar to most powerbanks in the market, there’s a tiny button that allows you to check the battery capacity with 4 LED indicators, however it’s glow is so faint that makes it a challenge to view it outdoors.
We used the powerbank to charge our Xiaomi Mi 4 with its 3080mAh battery fully depleted, the Owl Story powerbank takes 70 minutes to charge the phone up to 50% battery level and 140 minutes to complete a full charge with the phone switched off, this is tested over a 1A current output as detected by our charging testing device.
Verdict
The Owl Story Powerbank by Mooda is a reliable and cute charging device that you will never forget to store it in your bags, it has a lightweight design and solid build material that sets itself apart from its competition.
