We saw the launch of the OPPO Reno two weeks ago and it brought along with it the much-lauded shark fin rising camera as well as a dual-lens setup at the back. This time however, OPPO ups the ante but introducing the Reno 10x Zoom.
As the name suggests, the new addition to the series sports a triple-lens back camera setup (48MP main + 13MP telephoto + 8MP wide angle lens). The lenses work together to achieve a full-focal-length of 16mm-160mm, which allows the phone to get 10x hybrid zoom and up to 60x digital zoom. The phone also supports OIS to keep shots as steady as possible.
Over on the front-camera; or as OPPO calls it the “pivot rising camera”, is a 16MP lens as well as a studio light. The module erects at an angle leading to many to liken to a shark fin. Pretty neat.
What sets the Reno 10x Zoom from the regular edition is the Sapdragon 855 chipset that’s couple with a 8GB + 256GB memory configuration. Powering it is a 4,065mAh battery that is charged via USB-C. The phone also supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
Like the regular version, the phone comes in Ocean Green, which is a matte finish, while Jet Black is your usual glass back affair. The phone is priced at RM3,399 and can be pre-ordered from today onwards at any OPPO Concept Store, OPPO Official dealers and at the OPPO Official Website store. You can also opt to purchase the phone at Lazada or Shopee. You’ll be able to get your phone on June 18.
