OPPO previously hinted on the release of an upcoming phone, which turned out to be the OPPO A9 2020 that comes with a quad-camera setup. Now, the company confirms the camera specs of the phone.
The quad-camera setup consists of a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP mono lens. The first three cameras are aligned vertically together, while the mono lens is placed right next to its ultra-wide angle lens.
In addition to the ultra-wide angle lens that has a 119-degree depth of field, the camera also has AI beautification, Ultra Night Mode 2.0 and more. However, that’s not all the phone has to offer; the A9 2020 also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Paired with a 5,000mAh battery, you can game extensively on the smartphone without worrying about its battery life draining quickly.
Aside from a huge battery, the phone is reported to sport a huge 6.5-inch display. It is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 665 processor, so this is probably OPPO’s first mid-range device with a quad-camera setup.
The A9 2020 is going to be launched locally soon in September, so stay tuned for more updates as we inch closer to its launch date!
