While OnePlus has finally managed to slience critics (well most of them) with their third flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 3, the company seems to have shifted its focus to a new product which will be revealed soon.
OnePlus has uploaded a video onto its YouTube channel, teasing something that looks pretty much like a set of earphones, ending the video with a “Tune in on 08.25.2016” statement on screen. Obviously, the teaser video doesn’t say much but we’re pretty certain that OnePlus will be introducing a new set of earphones, if not something closely related to the said product.
If a new set of OnePlus earbuds happen to be true, this product refresh might be of the OnePlus Icons which was launched last year. A wild yet possible speculation would be a set of USB Type-C earbuds, considering the fact that USB-C is the future and that OnePlus has already implemented the still new technology in the OnePlus 2 last year. Fortunately, we only have a day or so left to the aforementioned August 25th date. Let’s just hope that it won’t be another great product masked by an underwhelming gimmicky launch experience.
