OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed that there will be a OnePlus smartwatch early next year, making it the first smartwatch produced by the company.
It’s either Oxygen OS or Wear OS
Many of you said you wanted a watch, and as you might have heard over the weekend—we’re making one, to be released early next year. Wishes do come true.🎁 https://t.co/H1Fqv9srXj

There are no concrete details yet, but we are expecting the smartwatch to either run on Oxygen OS/Wear OS. After all, OnePlus has been in a good relationship with Google and said in an interview that they are working with Google to improve Wear OS.
OnePlus smartwatch will probably resemble the OPPO Watch
Design-wise, we may be looking at a similar design as the OPPO Watch that was revealed back in September this year. The OPPO Watch has a dual-curved display and comes in a square form factor. We believe the OnePlus watch will come in a similar design, despite previous sketches that hinted a circular display. Unfortunately, none of its specs has been revealed yet.
The OnePlus smartwatch is definitely something to look forward to; OnePlus has been expanding its product range recently with the introduction of OnePlus TVs and also the midrange OnePlus Nord.
