OnePlus Ace to feature 150W fast charging and extended battery lifespan

OnePlus is undoubtedly one of the leading smartphone brands when it comes to fast charging, and the company’s next smartphone will come with an even more impressive 150W charging speed, which COO Liu Fengshuo has posted over Chinese social media Weibo with the unreleased OnePlus Ace.

The OnePlus Ace is expected to be powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 8100 chip, which is fabricated on a 4nm process and features quad Cortex-A78 performance cores clocked at 2.85GHz and quad Cortex-A55 efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz, this is going to be an impressive chipset that offers great performance and power efficiency.

While most smartphone batteries will usually last more than 80% of capacity after 800 charging cycles, the OnePlus Ace will be the first smartphone to break that number and OnePlus claims that the phone’s battery will have double the charging cycles when charging over the 150W SuperVOOC charging brick.

The OnePlus Ace is expected to be announced really soon, and if the claims of its battery lifespan is true, this would be a really exciting smartphone for those who really values battery life and fast charging.
