After their debuting in March, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro has finally been arrived in Malaysia today, bringing to the local market two more camera-centric flagships.
Display
The OnePlus 9 comes with a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel, while the OnePlus 9 Pro packs a beefier 6.67-inch LTPO curved AMOLED panel. Both phones push a 120Hz refresh rate, and are equipped with HyperTouch tech for better touch response while gaming.
Hasselblad Cameras
What’s more impressive is the OnePlus 9’s new camera system, which were co-developed with Swedish premium camera makers Hasselblad. The OnePlus 9 comes with a 48MP main lens, a 50MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor; the OnePlus 9 Pro has an extra 8MP telephoto camera as well.
OnePlus is also touting its Natural Color Calibration tech with Hasselblad to be a big selling point for the phone – the software basically helps produce images with perceptually more true-to-life colours.
On top of that, the phones are equipped with the Hasselblad Pro Mode that gives users more flexibility in post-editing, allowing you to produce “professional-level” images.
Hardware and Battery
Powering all of this is the latest and greatest Snapdragon 888 chipset; alongside it are 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Both phones come with a 4,500mAh battery and support 65W of WarpCharge fast charging. On top of that, the OnePlus 9 can do 15W of wireless charging, while the OnePlus 9 Pro supports up to a whopping 50W of wireless charging.
