OnePlus 6 is officially confirmed with Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM and 256GB storage

Although OnePlus hasn’t officially launched the OnePlus 6 yet, the company has finally confirmed that the phone will indeed be a lag-free device, a phone that has less than a 1/1000 percent likelihood of the phone freezing during the ownership. The OnePlus 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 845 like all other flagships released this year, and will supposedly come with with a 6GB RAM and 8GB RAM variants, while storage is going to max out at 256GB with no SD card expansion.

OnePlus has also mentioned in it’s blog post that a specialized team called Team FSE (Fast, Stable, Efficient) in it’s R&D is tasked to maximize the power of their flagship devices, testing demanding games such as PUBG Mobile for instance, to offer users a truly “burdenless” experience on their flagships. As OnePlus CEO Pete Lau puts it, “Fast is not just about shorter loading times or top download speeds, but it’s all about creating a lasting impression of speed and smoothness.

While the OnePlus 6 is sure to be an impressively speedy smartphone, the infamous notch design has gotten a lot of backlash from OnePlus fans, which the company has thankfully responded in a nice manner in it’s forums where it will be introducing a black-out feature for the notch allergic fan, while at the same time reiterating that the company’s focus is still delivering an exceptional full-screen experience.

Just release the phone already.
