Official renders of the Pixel 2 phones surfaces

Evan Blass has graced us yet again with some official renders of the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL and this time, it comes showing us the new home screen interface that Google is putting into these new phones. This also shows off most of the features that the rumours mention prior to these images popping up.

Initially, there was also of scepticism on moving the search bar at the bottom of the docked icons, but the rendering does show that Google has made it work, as there are keeping the top of the screen much clearer, but we would assume there is a way to hide it. Other than that, the front-facing speakers are also confirmed as we can see the speaker grills on the top and bottom of the device, something that will enhance the media consumption experience. We also see that the screen has rounded corner which is the signature design that came with the LG G6, which makes sense, as LG is developing the XL version of the phone.

Other than that, the renders also showed off the colours that will be available and the much improved back design of the phone. You will be able to see the phone in all its glory when Google host their conference of the Pixel 2 phones and other devices like the new Google Home on 4th October 2017.
