Microsoft reportedly testing Edge on Android devices

Microsoft has been embracing Android and iOS a lot and its next mobile project has been detected – Microsoft Edge on Android. As you can see in the sign in notice screenshot above, a Microsoft developer has apparently been testing the company’s exclusive Windows 10 browser on an Android device and signing in with a Google account, and in this case, we believe Microsoft is on its way to build its strong ecosystem on Android, as it has released Cortana on Android as a beta recently.

Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 brings a lot of performance improvements when compared to its predecessor and has been reportedly faster than its competition at some point, the new browser brings better hardware acceleration to the table as well as lesser resource consumption, will it be able to stand out as the next great browser on Android, we hope to find out soon.
