Alongside the new phones from the Mi 11 series, Xiaomi also launched the Mi Band 6 that has a 1.56-inch AMOLED touch display.
The biggest display we’ve seen in the Mi Band series
The Mi Smart Band 6’s display is now larger than its predecessor’s by 50%, offering over 60 band displays and adjustable brightness modes. It is protected by a tempered glass that comes with an anti-fingerprint coating, reducing the amount of smudges you’ll get when using the fitness tracker.
Instead of 11 fitness modes, the Mi Smart Band 6 gets 30
Just like the rest of the Mi bands, the Smart Band 6 has detachable straps; this time, the colour options are black, orange, yellow, olive, ivory and blue. The device supports 5ATM and has a PPG heart rate sensor, an accelerometer and a gyroscope. There are 30 fitness modes in total, SpO2 tracking, sleep tracking, stress monitoring, female health tracking and more.
Price and availability
With a 125mAh battery, this fitness tracker offers a 14-day battery life. It requires less than two hours to get a full charge and is compatible with any phones that run on Android 5.0/iOS 10 and above. The Mi Smart Band 6 is priced at EUR44.99 which is about RM219.43 when converted, but we’re expecting a price lower than RM200 when it’s finally available in Malaysia.
