macOS Monterey beta hints at higher-res displays for the new MacBook Pro

In the seventh macOS Monterey beta for developers, MacRumors discovered new display resolutions that could belong to the upcoming MacBook Pros.

New MacBook Pro models will also come with higher pixel density

Steve Moser from MacRumors found two new resolutions — “3456 x 2234 Retina” and “3024 x 1964 Retina”. These resolutions do not fit any of the previous MacBooks, hence it is believed that they belong to the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro.

If this information is accurate, the new MacBook Pro models will come with higher screen resolution and pixel density.

Apart from that, Apple is expected to make a comeback with the MagSafe laptop chargers and users may even get more ports, like an HDMI port and/or an SD card slot.

We are expecting the new MacBook Pro to be announced sometime in October, but we don’t have an exact date yet.
