Lenovo owned subsidiary Motorola has been laying low after the launch of its Moto Z series earlier this year. The company has also released the Moto G4 and the 2016 refresh of the Moto E. A couple of months back, rumors of a Moto M started emerging, and now we have more details regarding the handset which will be seeing the light in the near future.

Based on accumulated rumors across the span of months, the Moto M sports a 1080p Full HD resolution display, possibly of 5.5-inches in size. New developments tell us that the Moto device will feature the Helio P10’s successor, the Helio P15 underneath the hood. The Helio P15 is clocked higher than the P10 at 2.2 GHz, alongside a slightly higher clocked GPU as well at 800 MHz. In terms of memory, the Moto M is rumored to pack 4GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage.

The rest of the specs pretty much remain a blur, if not yet leaked, though we do know that the Moto M will be running Android Marshmallow when it launches, plus it will come preloaded with Microsoft apps such as Microsoft Office, Skype and One Drive, based on a recent agreement between Lenovo and Microsoft. The Moto M is said to carry a price tag of 1,999 CNY (RM1,228.44), which sounds pretty steep for what the handset offers. Let us know your thoughts at the comments section below!
