Lenovo has just unveiled a refresh to their lineup of business productivity laptops in the AMD variants of the ThinkPad E14 and ThinkPad E15.
Lenovo ThinkPad E14
With the ThinkPad E14, you get to pick either a 14-inch IPS or TN panel depending how much creative work you do on the laptop. The design of the laptop boasts the classic ThinkPad all-black simplicity so it fits in any business setting.
Under the hood, you can pack it with up to an AMD Ryzen 7 4000-series chip with AMD integrated graphics. For storage, you can equip the laptop with up to a 1TB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD, which is paired with up to 24GB of DDR4 3200Hz RAM.
The laptop is powered with a 45Wh battery that offers up to 13 hours of battery life. The laptop also charger with a 65W adapter via a USB-C connection. For I/O ports, you get one USB 2.0, one USB 3.1 Gen 1, one USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 with PD and display port support, one HDMI port, an ethernet port, and an audio jack.
For conference calls, you get a 720p webcam with Glance by Mirametrix IR for biometric login. There’s also a fingerprint reader should you prefer that.
Lenovo ThinkPad E15
This is your 15.6-inch option and like its smaller sibling, you can pick from a TN or IPS panel too. Everything remains the same – an AMD Ryzen 7 4000-series CPU with the integrated graphics, same storage options and battery pack and more. As it’s bigger, the ThinkPad E15 is also heavier at 1.7kg.
