Lenovo teases design for gaming smartphone Legion Y90

Lenovo‘s gaming smartphone, Legion Y90, was supposed to launch on 1 January but that didn’t happen so the company shared a teaser video instead, giving us a glimpse of the phone’s design.

The Legion Y90’s design isn’t too different compared to the Legion Duel 2, sporting curved edges and a bump in the middle that houses the thermal vent, the dual-camera setup and LED, along with the Y-shaped RGB light.

The power button is located on the right side in between two more extra vents whereas the volume buttons are situated on the left side. Instead of a pop-up camera seen in the Legion Duel 2, the selfie camera will be located on the top right corner with the absence of a notch or a punch-hole cutout.

We know that the phone is confirmed to feature a 6.92-inch E4 AMOLED panel that pushes a 144Hz refresh rate and 720Hz touch sampling rate. Other than that, it also supports HDR and has anti-blue light eye protection certification.

In terms of hardware, it’s equipped with a Double Engine Air Cooling Technology for sustained thermals and performance, run on Lenovo’s ZUI 13, and will likely sport either a Snapdragon 888 or a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC.

Lenovo is yet to announce the official launch date of the Legion Y90 but we’ll be sure to update you so stay tuned.
