Lenovo has just announced a refresh to their lightweight Yoga lineup – bringing to the country more premium business-centric laptops.
Yoga 6
The Yoga 6 now can packs AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPUs – your choice includes a Ryzen 4500U, or a Ryzen 4700U.
The 13.3-inch laptop comes with a FHD IPS touch display that offers a 72% NTSC colour output. The device also sports the classy Abyss Blue fabric cover that’s stain-resistant as well.
The Yoga 6 has a flexible hinge that lets you use the device like a tablet. There’s a fingerprint sensor for biometric login, a TrueBlock webcam shutter, and an impressive 18-hour battery life.
The Yoga 6 is priced from RM3,799.
Yoga Slim 7i Carbon
This device is all about portability with a weight of just 966 grams and a thickness of 14.25mm. This 13.3-inch laptop is also sturdy thanks to its carbon fiber top cover, and magnesium alloy chassis. Lenovo claims to have put the device through military-grade durability testing, so we can assume it’s pretty sturdy.
The Yoga Slim 7i Carbon comes with a QHD display that supports Dolby Vision and 100% sRGB colour space. You can equip the laptop with up to an Intel Core i7-1165G7 CPU, which comes with Intel Iris Xe graphics.
The laptop comes in Moon White and is priced from RM4,399.
Lenovo Yoga 9i and Yoga Slim 9i
The Yoga 9i sports an aluminium chassis and your choice of a black European leather cover (available only via Lenovo’s official online store) or aluminium Mica (available only via Lenovo’s Exclusive Stores). The 14-inch laptop packs up to an Intel Core i7-1185G7 chipset, 16GB of 4266MHz LPDDR4X RAM, and 1TB of storage via a PCIe NVMe SSD.
You display options can go up to a UHD IPS VESA panel that offers 90% DCI-P3 colour output. What’s unique about the Yoga 9i is its sound bar speaker that’s placed between the display and keyboard. The speaker can be rotated up to 360 degrees, and blasts audio even when you use the laptop in tablet mode.
Moving on to the Yoga Slim 9i, you essentially get the same features bar the sound bar speaker system. This is due to the fact that the laptop is also thinner at just 13.9mm, and weighs just 1.29kg.
You can also opt for a larger 15-inch model that comes with an 10th-Gen Intel Core i9 HK CPU, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q, which means you can also game on this lightweight device.
