A few months back Lenovo launched the Yoga Slim 7 Carbon and Yoga Slim 7 Pro with no word on when it was going to release in Malaysia; now it has finally arrived and is ready for purchase. These laptops are compact, stylish, and can pack quite a lot of power so that these would make great everyday laptops for anyone who needs one.
Yoga Slim 7 Carbon
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon is more of a lifestyle laptop that you can bring with you as your everyday device. It comes with a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display that pushes a 90Hz refresh rate and supports a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, plus Dolby Vision and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 for a better viewing experience, and it runs on Windows 11.
In terms of the hardware, the laptop comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800U CPU and an MX450 integrated GPU, that has up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of PCIe SSD. It’s powered by a 61Wh battery and weighs in at 1.1kg because it does come with a carbon-infused magnesium alloy body which gives a lightweight yet sturdy feel to it.Â
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon starts at RM5,290 and can be purchased via the Official Lenovo Malaysia Online Store, and is also being sold at Lenovo Exclusive Stores, and their Shopee and Lazada stores which starts at RM5,899.
Yoga Slim 7 ProÂ
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro is the laptop that was made for creatives who require more power for their needs. This laptop sports a 14-inch, 2.5K resolution IPS 120Hz display and supports 100% sRGB color gamut, VESA Certified DisplayHDR 400, and Dolby Vision. This model also runs on Windows 11.Â
The laptop has up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU, and up to a Ryzen 7 5800H CPU. You will also get up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD. Additionally, the laptop is powered by a 75Whr battery, so you can expect a decent battery life.
Right now the Yoga Slim 7 Pro starts at RM4,519 for the base model which can be purchased via Lenovo Malaysia’s Official Online Store and is also available on Lenovo’s Exclusive stores as well as their Shopee and Lazada stores where these laptops will start at RM4,499 for the Non-OLED variant and RM4,699 for the OLED one.
