LEGO introduces NEXO Knights, a medieval version of Ninjago

For LEGO fans out there, if you remember, one of LEGO’s own trademark series that was a hit worldwide was Ninjago. Now, LEGO has introduced another trademark name called NEXO Knights, depicting a medieval kingdom set in a futuristic world. LEGO Malaysia has brought a huge exhibition – the LEGO NEXO Knights Academy, right here in Mid Valley Megamall, with Malaysia being the first country to host such an event in South East Asia. 

These new characters are not just brought to life through LEGO building sets, but also in a 20-episode animated TV series and a mobile game app. The story is based on five young brave knights based in the Kingdom of Knighton, who take it upon themselves to unlock exclusive power-ups and build new shields in order to battle against the evil jester from the royal courts – Jestro, the Book of Monsters and the Lava Monster Army. 

The five knights include Heroic knight, Clay Moorington who leads the band of knightss, which consists of alpha superstar Lance Richmond, hipster Aaron Fox, Macy Halbert, a princess who would rather be a knight and Axl, the giant. Together, under the tutelage of Knights’ Academy mentor and Great Digital Wizard, Merlok 2.0, they join forces to defeat the enemy.

Seventeen richly detailed building sets from the LEGO NEXO Knights collection is currently available at LEGO Certified Stores in Malaysia at The Curve in Mutiara Damansara, Bangsar Village, Empire Subang, IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, Setia City Mall and Queensbay Mall in Penang. They are also available at Toys “R” Us, Hamleys, AEON, Isetan, Parkson, Box of Bricks and LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. The pricing for the products are in the range of RM 39 to RM 499.
