As we’re nearing the projected launch of the iPhone 7 later this year by Apple, there’s yet another leak, which supports previous leaks regarding the design of the upcoming iPhone. Sourced from Chinese micro blogging site Weibo, the image of the alleged iPhone 7 back panel confirms a thing or two from before.
Looking at the image, we’re basically seeing a pretty much naked and bare back of the iPhone 7. The camera setup module appears to be missing, or in this case, have yet to be installed into the iPhone. Hence, we’re looking at two hollow cutouts meant for the camera lens and the flash to be installed. We’ve also spotted another design cue from previous leaks, which is the repositioning off the antenna bands to the edges, surround the frame of the chassis at the top and bottom. On another slightly unrelated note, the scratch on the bottom right corner of the back panel looks pretty darn horrible.
This leak only shows the alleged iPhone 7. The Plus variant is expected to feature a dual-camera setup for the first time in iPhone history. Also, Apple has been rumored countless times to remove the 3.5mm audio jack for the iPhone 7 lineup, hence we could be looking at a slimmer than the already slim iPhone. What do you think?
