iPhone SE teardown reveals many similar components with the iPhone 8

The iPhone SE is Apple’s latest device and since it has been compared to the iPhone 8 countless times, technical training specialist Ao Technology uploaded a teardown video of the iPhone SE.

Comparing it to the iPhone 8, the two iPhones are almost completely similar when it comes to their components — even when the components are swapped between their bodies, most of it worked. The only parts that didn’t work are its rear camera and battery because the connector on the iPhone SE is slightly larger.

Of course, the iPhone SE also has a better A13 Bionic chipset that is faster than the A11 Bionic chipset in the iPhone 8, in addition to 3GB RAM, better Wi-Fi and also LTE connectivity. Other minor differences include the relocation of the Apple logo and the removal of the word “iPhone” at its back to match the newer iPhones.

The iPhone SE will probably be Apple’s best iPhone of the year since it’s a budget flagship that offers powerful performance. Priced at RM1,999, the iPhone SE is a strong contender in the midrange market.
