He believes that the brand is positioned to meet those demands, and then some. Samsung can achieve that with their competitive pricings, and cutting-edge innovations.

Drew Blackard, Vice President of Mobile Product Management says that there is an appreciation for the phones’ unique form factor on top of its other benefits in the multitasking and portability front.

He notes that 9 out of 10 existing Galaxy Z series users want to buy more foldable phones in the future, which is indicative to the phones’ growing appeal in the mainstream market.

Dr. Won-Joon Choi, Executive Vice President acknowledges that the durability of foldables is an area of priority when it comes to making improvements – he adds that Samsung is the first to offer the world’s first water-resistant foldable smartphone, and this was achieved by implementing innovative sealing designs.

Choi adds that the displays used are 80% more durable now and that’s thanks to the new type of protective film used to layer the panel. The outer body of the frame is protected with Armor Aluminum and Gorilla Glass Victus.

When it comes to the new S Pen that now works with the Galaxy Z Fold3, even that’s been given an upgrade – Samsung and Wacom’s 10-year collab results in a stylus that offers impressive performance, low latency, and a tuned-up tip that makes the writing and drawing better on a foldable display.

How is the Galaxy Watch4 better?

Galaxy Watch4 Key VisualDr. Janghyun Yoon, Executive Vice President notes that the Galaxy Watch4 is equipped with the company’s most advanced sensor to date (Samsung BioActive Sensor) that incorporates an Optical Heart Rate Sensor, Electrical Heart Sensor, and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis Sensor into one chipset.

This allows the chassis of the device to be slimmer than before. On top of that, Yoon notes that the Galaxy Watch4 is the first in the series to offer Body Composition analysis, offering users a more holistic health tracking experience.

The watches ship with the new One UI Watch software which is the brainchild of a collab between Samsung and Google. It allows users to seamlessly sync up their smartwatches with their other Android smartphones.
