You can now reply to Instagram stories using GIFs!

When Instagram introduced GIFs into the app, people rejoiced and used GIFs to express themselves in their stories. Now, Instagram expand the usage of GIFs and lets you reply to your friend’s story with a GIF.

Instagram took it to their Twitter account to announced the new feature; you’ll have to update your app to the latest version via App Store or Google Play Store if you want to start replying stories with GIF. In the span of less than half a day, the announcement has already reached almost 1,000 likes — pointing towards a positive response.

However, there are quite a few replies in the Twitter thread that asked Instagram to give them back their accounts that were disabled by mistake. Some other feedback includes asking for features such as the music integration that’s only available in some countries and the most-requested chronological order algorithm.

Not to worry though, if your app is updated but you’re still unable to try out the feature, just wait a few more days.
