Insta360 has just launched its strong contender against the GoPro Hero Black series, introducing the Insta360 Ace and Ace Pro. Aimed at providing AI-powered action camera capabilities to a broad audience, these cameras come with a suite of features.
The Ace Pro stands as the premium model in the lineup. In collaboration with Leica, Insta360 has equipped it with a Leica SUMMARIT f/2.6 lens, ensuring top-notch image and video quality. It boasts a 1/1.3-inch sensor capable of capturing 4K120fps videos and 48MP photos. Additionally, it includes a PureVideo mode for enhanced low-light performance, USB PD fast charging, and Active HDR for balanced exposure in contrasting scenes.
The Ace serves as a more budget-friendly alternative, featuring a 1/2-inch 48MP sensor and a slightly brighter f/2.4 lens.
Both models come with a 2.4-inch flip-up touchscreen for easy shot composition and control. The Ace Pro can record video up to 8K24p, while the Ace can reach 6k30p. Both support 4K120p for slow-motion footage and offer AI-powered editing through the Insta360 app for both iOS and Android. This includes features like AI Warp and AI Selfie Stick Eraser for enhanced video effects and convenience.
Designed for rugged use, both cameras are waterproof up to 10 meters, extendable to 60 meters with a Dive Case. The flip screen functions underwater, thanks to their waterproof build. They are also usable in temperatures as low as -20°C, ideal for winter activities. Both models boast FlowState Stabilization for smooth videos and 360° Horizon Lock for level horizons in all actions.
The Ace Pro supports rapid charging with any 30W or higher PD charger, achieving 80% battery charge in just 22 minutes.
In Malaysia, the Insta360 Ace and Ace Pro are available for pre-order at official Insta360 stores on Shopee and Lazada, priced at RM 2,099 for the Ace Pro and RM 1,799 for the Ace. Each box includes a USB C data cable, a standard mount, a removable battery, and a flexible adhesive mount.
