Huawei has unveiled its latest flagship devices at the “Now Is Your Run” global product launch event in Madrid, headlined by the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro alongside a refreshed lineup of audio and wearable products. The announcement marks the return of the Mate Series to the global stage, signalling Huawei’s continued focus on premium innovation across smartphones and connected devices.

At the centre of the launch is the Mate 80 Pro, which introduces an upgraded True-to-Color camera system designed to deliver consistent colour accuracy across different lighting conditions and mixed colour temperatures. The system aims to capture scenes as they naturally appear, whether indoors under artificial lighting or outdoors in bright sunlight, prioritising realism over oversaturated results.

The device also features an evolved Dual Space Ring design, a refined take on the Mate Series’ signature camera module aesthetic. Inspired by natural elements, the phone will be available in Gold, Green and Black finishes, offering a premium yet understated appearance.

Huawei has integrated new AI-powered features into the Mate 80 Pro to enhance usability. AI Composition provides real-time framing suggestions directly in the viewfinder, helping users adjust cropping or zoom for better shot composition. AI Smart Control allows quick access to selected AI applications with a double tap of the lock button, streamlining common tasks without navigating through menus.

Beyond imaging, the Mate 80 Pro is engineered for everyday reliability with improved durability, system optimisation and AI-assisted performance management designed to support smooth multitasking and all-day usage.

Alongside the flagship smartphone, Huawei introduced the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 5, featuring a dual-engine AI noise cancellation system that dynamically adapts to surrounding environments. Combined with a dual-driver acoustic setup, the earbuds aim to deliver immersive audio while maintaining clarity for both music and voice calls.

The company also expanded its wearable lineup with the HUAWEI WATCH Ultimate 2 in a new Green colour option, retaining its premium outdoor and diving capabilities while adding enhanced golf-focused features. Meanwhile, the HUAWEI Band 11 Series offers a larger display and comprehensive health tracking tools in a lightweight design suited for everyday use.

HUAWEI Malaysia has confirmed that the Mate 80 Pro, FreeBuds Pro 5, WATCH Ultimate 2 (Green) and Band 11 Series will be arriving locally in the coming weeks. In fact, if you are interested in the Mate 80 Pro, you can already pay a RM100 deposit on Huawei Malaysia’s store to enjoy free gifts worth RM2115.
