HTC mid range tablet benchmark results uploaded

Is HTC busy working under our noses? Apparently not exactly as a GFX entry has been up on the net regarding an upcoming mid range tablet from the Taiwanese OEM.

The HTC IV5001-A, also rumored to be named the HTC Desire T7, is tipped to run on a quad core Spreadtrum SC8830 with a tame 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It is also said to operate Android 5.0, which is still current considering the baby stage of Marshmallow. Sadly, its 7-inch display will only be in 720p resolution. Other specs include 5MP cameras both on the front and back, like on the NVIDIA Shield Tablet.

HTC has not been active in the tablet ecosystem since its release of the the Tegra K1 powered Nexus 9 in collaboration with Google. Apart from having a somewhat dismal year in 2015, HTC has been relatively quiet. It seems that the company has started its engines for 2016 so stay tuned.
