HONOR 50 to launch with 108MP camera in Malaysia on October 18

After launching in China, the HONOR 50 will be arriving in Malaysian market next – CEO of HONOR Malaysia, Justin Li announced today that it will be launching on October 18 at 8pm.

The HONOR 50 is a 5G device powered by the Snapdragon 778G chip; it is equipped with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and ships with Android 11 out of the box.

The good news is this phone will finally come with Google Mobile Services because it’s no longer under HUAWEI. It’ll also have a 4,300mAh battery that supports 66W fast charging.

HONOR 50 to sport impressive display and cameras

Although the HONOR 5G is using an upper-midrange processor, it has a 6.58-inch OLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate and 1 billion colours.

It also comes with a 108MP wide lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you’ll get a 32MP lens that can shoot up to 1080p at 30fps.

In China, the HONOR 50 is available in Frost Crystal, Emerald Green, Midnight Black and Amber Red. However, the announcement poster did not include the last colour option, so Malaysians will probably get three colours only.
