Google’s COVID-19 website is now live compiling the latest information regarding the outbreak across the globe.
Dubbed COVID –19 Information & Resources, this website packs everything you need to know about the virus from what causes it and how to protect yourself from it. The latest news from sources around the internet are gathered here so you keep yourself updated on the latest happenings.
You can also check data and insights regarding the spread of the virus across different countries – this is important to keep people adrift on the number of people infected and cured. At the moment, Malaysia currently stands at 1,306 confirmed cases, with 139 recovered patients and 10 deaths.
The current website is US-centric, so help pages and hotlines are geared towards Americans, but you can visit our own Ministry of Health’s website here for list of relevant contacts.
To contribute to the efforts in fighting the pandemic, Google has also linked a charity fund where you can donate money to aid the cause.
While we observe the RMO and stay put indoors, we should check in on this website at least once a day to get the latest updates on how we’re fairing against the outbreak.
