With phones getting bigger these days, it’s getting kind of hard to navigate your entire phone with just a single hand. Google is probably thinking along the same lines, as it is currently experimenting something called “Chrome Home” on its browser.
Available only on Chrome Canary, this new feature would allow users to move the address bar, tab switcher, and settings menu to the bottom of the screen. The logic behind this move is that it would allow users to access all their tabs and address bars without needing to stretch their fingers all the way to the top of the screen.
That being said, this feature is currently in its early testing stages, so a full rollout of “Chrome Home” is still a while away…assuming Google intends to roll the feature out in the first place. For those who are curious, you can always download Chrome Canary to try it out for yourself.
