The company has just released an AI software that can identify and assist suicidal users, the software can analyze post and even video streams for users which show the tendency. From there a prompt will appear asking the user if they need help and show the options that are available to assist the user. Facebook is rolling out this features to the international market today and they will eventually make it its way around the world, but this feature is not available across the EU. The company also has staff that work around the clock to monitor post that suggests a user is suicidal and have contact with first-responders and support groups to help users can quickly as possible.
