Ever since Facebook bought over Instagram, it’s hard not to notice the similarities between these social media platforms. They share many features including Stories, and you can even cross-post your Instagram story on Facebook. Now, Facebook is testing a new feature to allow Facebook Stories to be cross-posted on Instagram Stories.
When the new feature is introduced, posting on Facebook and Instagram will be more seamless than before. You can pick either platform to upload your Stories, and just cross-post them on the other platform. This saves many the time and effort to post twice on both platforms.
It’s obvious that Facebook has been trying very hard to integrate their identity into Instagram; you’ll see the text “Instagram — From Facebook” on its title screen, and you can even open Facebook through its settings menu.
Well, this may also be pointless to some of us who only prefer posting on one platform. Do you post on Facebook or Instagram, or both?
