In conjunction of its 22nd Anniversary, myNEWS has officially launched an app called “myNEWS Malaysia” as part of its commitment to offer a seamless and rewarding shopping experience for its customers.
The app acts as a virtual card where customers are able to collect and keep track of their loyalty points which they could later exchange for Bonus Points Rewards, Points
Exchange Rewards, Stamps Campaigns and Promotion Coupons. Users that have accumulated at least 20 points could also use the points to redeem mySPECIAL rewards that includes food and beverages.
Users could also use the app to locate their nearest myNEWS store, latest store promotions, and up coming events by myNEWS.
To collect points, customers would first need to download the app and create an account. Before a customer make a payment, they would need to show the cashier their in-app bar code to scan. Once the payment is done via cash, debit/credit card or myNEWS gift card, the points would automatically be transferred to the users in-app virtual card.
In addition to that, myNEWS has also announced its partnership with Mastercard to launch a special Tap & Go promotion starting from now until 31 March 2019 where customers are rewarded with a free gift (Coke, 100 PLUS or Oyoshi drinks) for purchases made using their Mastercard credit or debit card with a minimum spend of RM10.
