Lenovo’s Moto M has been rumored for the past couple of weeks. The upcoming anticipated Moto handset had most of its specs leaked out over this course, and we pretty much know what to expect at the Moto M’s launch event tomorrow. The phone has already seen a premature launch on Chinese retailer Tmall, with full on details leaked.

First of all, the Moto M features a standard 5.5-inch display on the front in Full HD 1080p resolution. Underneath the hood is an octa core MediaTek Helio P15 processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, coupled with 4GB of RAM, plus 32GB of onboard storage. The phone appears to have P2i oleophobic coating, making it splash proof, but that doesn’t mean it is IP rated with water resistance.

The rear camera of the Moto M is at 13 megapixels. Details of the selfie camera on the other hand hasn’t been revealed but we’re expecting a 5 megapixel sensor on the front. Below the rear camera sits a rear fingerprint reader. The Moto M was previously rumored to sport a mammoth 5,100mAh battery, which unfortunately happens to not be the case. Instead, the handset packs a 3,050mAh battery, which is fairly sufficient for the processing package as a whole.

The Moto M carries a price tag of 1,999 CNY (RM1,243.31), which is definitely on the steep side given its specs. There are better alternatives out there, especially from Chinese OEM’s such as Xiaomi. What do you think of the Moto M by Lenovo?
