The ASUS ZenFone 2 regional launch is happening on 21 April 2015 and we are over at Jakarta, Indonesia bringing you the coverage of the launch. This time, we are doing things a little differently than last year as we wanted to be more interactive with you folks and hence, I’ve decided that we should jump on a Vlog style posting that will give you a better view of what is happening on the scene. It’s a wrap people! The ASUS ZenFone 2 is now official in the region and sales will begin to kick off in May 9th, in this final Vlog we share with you on our experience on the event and a little thought on the ZenFone 2’s hands on and its newly launched accessories. Part 2: Venue Preview and Procedures While this is certainly no Consumer Electronics Show and Mobile World Congress, any international event can be overwhelming to a first timer and I’ve personally attended a couple of those huge crazy events. Similar to last year, ASUS has chosen Pullman Hotel Jakarta for its event launch and looks like we have folks from more Asian countries this year heading to the event – Myanmar, The Philippines and Taiwan, so we’re going to expect a really packed event for today and we therefore give you a preview tour around and how we register ourselves to get into the event. Part 1: Which Gadget accompanies me to Indonesia Shot at my very humble home a few hours before departing for the airport – its just only 2 hours of sleep after the editing work. I believe most folks would like to know what gadgets we bring abroad to an international event like this and I have my favorite gadgets to bring along to make my work more productive and fun. The ASUS ZenFone 2’s availability and pricing will be revealed on the Incredible Zen Day happening on 9th May 2015 at KL Live, Kuala Lumpur, we expect the phone to be priced around RM1259 for the flagship variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
