ASUS recently announced several new ROG laptops — the TUF Dash F15, the ROG Strix G15/17 and the Zephyrus G14.
ASUS ROG TUF Dash F15
The ROG TUF Dash F15 comes with a 240Hz refresh rate with Adaptive-Sync technology and 3ms quick response time. It has a 15.6-inch IPS display supporting up to 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time, in addition to Adaptive-Sync technology to prevent visual tearing.
Under the hood, this laptop supports 8GB of RAM and either.512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 or 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage. You can also choose between the GeForce RTX 3060 or 3070 GPU; and also the Intel Core i5-11300H or i7-11370H processors.
When it comes to I/O ports, the TUF Dash F15 has an HDMI 2.0b port, three USB 3.2 ports, one USB Type-C port, an RJ45 LAN port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The ROG TUF Dash F15 starts from RM4,699.
ROG Strix G15/G17
Unlike the TUF Dash F15, the new ROG Strix G15 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor. It is also paired with the RTX3060 GPU and has a 15.6-inch IPS display but it only supports up to 144Hz refresh rate. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage.
The same applies to the ROG Strix G17; the only difference is the Strix G17 has a larger 17.3-inch screen, a larger 1TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage, and an extra LAN port.
The ROG Strix G15 is priced at RM5,999 whereas the ROG Strix G17 is priced at RM6,299.
ROG Zephyrus G14
Last but not least, we have the Zephyrus G14 in two colour options — Moonlight White and Eclipse Gray. This 14-inch laptop has an IPS anti-glare display that pushes WQHD resolution and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Zephyrus G14 has 8GB of RAM that is expandable up to 24GB; 1TB of M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSD storage; and is powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS chip and the GeForce RTX3060 GPU.
I/O ports-wise, the laptop has a 3.5mm audio jack paired with a HDMI 2.0b port; two USB-C ports; and two USB-A ports. The Zephyrus G14 is available at RM7,699.
