ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) isn’t sitting on its laurels as usual on this year’s CES, as the company has 16-inch and 18-inch Nebula displays to the Strix G and Strix SCAR gaming laptop line up, while phasing out the conventional 15-inch display model and retaining 17-inch display for both lineups.

These new laptops are the Strix G16, G17, and G18, and the Strix SCAR 16, 17 and 18.

If you are looking at AMD processor options, the 2023 Strix SCAR 17 and Strix G17 are powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 Zen 4 processor, GPU options are offered with up to GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU for the Strix SCAR 17 and GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU for the Strix G17, these laptops are equipped with up to a QHD IPS-level panel that refreshes at 240Hz with G-SYNC and Dolby Vision HDR support.

Unfortunately, all 2023 ROG Strix gaming laptops do not come with a built-in webcam, which is a rather odd decision as ASUS has included them on the ROG Zephyrus and TuF Gaming series laptops.

Availability and pricing of these laptops have yet to be announced by ASUS Malaysia, but we are definitely looking at mid Q1 or early Q2 for these laptops to reach our shores.
