When it comes to commercial laptops, ASUS’ ExpertBook lineup is usually packed with attractive features that appeals to business elites, and the brand has finally announced the refreshed ExpertBook B9 OLED business laptop, and the ExpertBoook B6 Flip workstation laptop.
2023 ExpertBook B9 OLED
Retaining the same 990g weight as the previous generation, the ExpertBook B9 OLED is the world’s most lightweight 14-inch business laptop. Featuring a new environmentally friendly design, a 16:10 OLED display, the laptop is powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processors with support for enterprise-grade security features.
Despite its lightweight body, the ExpertBook B9 OLED’s magnesium-lithium alloy chassis adheres to US military grade standards and is built to withstand accidental bumps and drops. Unlike most ultrabooks, the ExpertBook B9 OLED is also able to offer up to 11 hours of use on a single charge, and coupled with its responsive performance, the laptop is an Intel Evo verified laptop.
Built with 70% of post-industrial recycled metal, the 2023 ExpertBook B9 OLED is built with sustainability in mind, the manufacturing process employs a patented technique called Thixomolding to bestow the dual benefits of increased rigidity and improved energy efficiency, while the laptop’s packaging uses paper that has been awarded with FSC MIX certification, it is reusable as a laptop stand for better ergonomics.
In terms of specifications, the laptop is equipped with up to an Intel Core i7-1355U vPro processor and 32GB of LPDDR5x memory, it also doesn’t compromise on I/O as it comes with a pair of Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports with USB PD charging support, a USB 3.2 port, a full-size HDMI 2.1 port and a 3.5mm combo jack, shaming many ultrabooks of the same class.
The 2023 ExpertBook B9 OLED is now available from selected retailers in Malaysia for RM8,999.
2023 ExpertBook B6 Flip
The ExpertBook B6 Flip is a true versatile powerhouse on the go targeted at architecture, engineering and construction enterprises, featuring a 2-in-1 convertible design, professionals can use the laptop in different forms while the 16-inch QHD touchscreen supports stylus input for advanced professional creation.
Powered by a 16-core, 24-thread Intel Core i9-12850HX vPro CPU, the laptop comes with 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD and 32GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, graphics power is delivered by a 135W NVIDIA GeForce RTX A2000 GPU that supports ray-tracing and accelerated AI workflows.
Ports selection include a built-in smart card reader as secondary ID check for enhanced security, a MicroSD card slot, two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 ports and a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port.
The ExpertBook B6 Flip (B6602F) will be available in Malaysia from selected resellers for RM11,999.
