Apple is sure to update the pricing of older iPhones after its keynote, and for those who still loves the physical Touch ID home button, the iPhone 7/7 Plus and iPhone 8/8 Plus are thankfully here to stay, and they have now gotten a lot more affordable with a huge price cut, so here’s how much they are priced right now:
- iPhone 7 – RM2199 (32GB), RM2649 (128GB)
- iPhone 7 Plus – RM2749 (32GB), RM3199 (128GB)
- iPhone 8 – RM2899 (64GB), RM3599 (256GB)
- iPhone 8 Plus – RM3299 (64GB), RM3999 (256GB)
Unfortunately, if you think the Xs isn’t much of an upgrade and would like to stick with the X, Apple is no longer listing it on its online store but there are still chances that you can still get one at local Apple resellers, the smaller iPhone SE is also discontinued, which means all iPhones you are getting now doesn’t have a headphone jack.
While the price reduction makes the older iPhones worth considering, the iPhone XR will still probably affect the sales of these phones with its $749 (RM3103) price tag, even after taxes and SST, since it offers improved hardware performance and a larger 6.1-inch display, so it all comes down to whether you prefer a classic or notched iPhone design when it comes to purchasing decisions.
