Affordable 5.4-inch iPhone on the way with A13 Bionic and TrueDepth camera

Apple looks to be making the rounds this year with a purported iPhone 9-esque device that will take on the general size of an iPhone 8.

However, it will be updated with the latest A13 Bionic chipset, with Touch ID omitted, making Face ID the only biometric unlocking option.

This comes after sources from Japan spoke to a representative from Apple during the CES 2020 conference recently. The report adds that Apple will use the TrueDepth set of front-facing cameras to make the screen 5.4-inches in size as opposed to the original 4.7-inch shape of the iPhone 8 that it’s based off of. The omission of the Touch ID button plays a role here too.

This phone is reportedly an affordable entry into Apple’s line-up which we think will sell like hotcakes across the globe should it exist.
