Acer shows off a wide range of gaming desktops and laptops, teases the Predator X with dual Intel Xeon processors

Other than showing off their new and impressive laptops and Chromebooks, Acer has also release new gaming devices and upgraded existing devices. The Nitro brand has finally recieved a desktop computer and the Predator laptops are even more appealing.

Nitro 50

The Nitro 50 desktop comes with an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card and Qi Wireless Charging base. They have also mentioned that they are in the mits of releasing a new Nitro laptop and a gaming monitor to complete the Nitro line up with everything a gamer needs.

Predator Helios 300 Special Edition

The Predator Helios 300 now comes in a white and gold special edition colour, the colour is not the only thing that has changed as they have also upgraded the screen to support 144hz  for buttery smooth gaming. The internals have also been upgraded, as it now comes with an 8th Generation Intel core i7+ processor and an Nividia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. They have also made selected Predator Gadgets white to match the new special edition laptop.

Predator Helios 500

The Helios 500 has been a gamers choice laptop, and now it has also recieved an upgrade with a Intel Core i9 processor, 17-inch 144hz IPS display that supports G-Sync and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB graphics card. It maintains the built-in overclocking functions and support for Killer Ethernet Double Shot Pro and Killer Ethernet to illimate delay for online gaming.

Predator Orion 5000 and 3000

Both the Oriaon 5000 and 300 are placed below the Orion 9000 to complete the family of Orion performance desktops. The 5000 comes with an 8th Genetation Intel Core i7+ 8700K processor, dual Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in SLI configurations, Killer Ethernet.

The Orion 3000 comes with the 8th Generation Core i7+ 8700 processor, a single Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card and up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM with clock speeds of 2666MHz. Both these dektops come with Acer’s IceTunnle2.0 cooling design and maintains the EMI Compliant see through panel that was seen on the Orion 9000.

Predator X

Lastly, is the powerful Predator X which comes equipped with dual Intel Xeon processors and based on what Jason Chen, CEO of Acer said, supports the ability to let multiple players game on the Predator X at a single time. He also mentions that this desktop is made for gamers who need the power to stream, render, edit and play all at the same time. No other specifications were mentioned but expect this desktop to be very powerful and very expensive.

Just like their thin and light devices, prices and release dates for their gaming laptops and desktops were not mentioned. However, expect some announcement on these in the coming weeks
