Are you on a limited budget for a big 4K TV? Watch out for a great deal on this 25-28 November 2022, as you will be able to score a 50-inch 4K Android TV from Candy for just RM1359 instead of its usual RM1999 price tag.
Candy is an established and leading European electronics household appliance brand that has started its business since 1945, it has been part of Haier’s brand portfolio since its acquisition in 2019 and is in line with Haier’s vision of becoming the global leader in IoT for smart home appliances.
To mark its entry to the Malaysian market, Candy Malaysia has introduced three Android TV models, they are the 32-inch C32K702A with HD resolution. 43-inch C43K702AF with Full HD resolution and 50-inch C50K702AU with 4K resolution, these TVs use D-LED panels and runs Android TV 11 out of the box.
Connectivity is surprisingly modern for the 50-inch 4K model as it features HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth 5.1 and two USB 2.0 ports, while Candy claims that it will support variable refresh rate (VRR), you are still very much limited to 60Hz if you intend to game on it.
In terms of pricing, Candy’s 32-inch Android TV retails at RM859, the 43-inch Android TV retails at RM1,399 and the 50-inch 4K Android TV retails at RM1,999.
As mentioned in the beginning, Candy Malaysia will be having a special sale on Shopee at 25-28 November 2022, where the 32-inch and 43-inch models will also be on sale at a price of RM599 and RM1,059 respectively.
