ASUS Malaysia has opened preorders for the ProArt P14 and ProArt P16 powered by NVIDIA RTX Spark, with both laptops priced at RM29,999. Preorders run exclusively through the ASUS e-Store from 8 to 31 October 2026.
Each preorder includes a ProArt Display OLED PA279CDV monitor worth RM4,250 while stocks last. Unlike the broader global range, which includes multiple memory capacities, the Malaysian launch configurations pair the full RTX Spark processor with 128GB of unified memory and a 1TB SSD.
RTX Spark targets serious local AI workloads

The ProArt P14 and P16 use the NVIDIA RTX Spark N1X platform, combining a 20-core Grace CPU with a 6,144-core Blackwell RTX GPU. ASUS rates the system at up to one petaFLOP of FP4 AI performance, while the 128GB LPDDR5X unified memory pool can be shared by CPU and GPU workloads.
That large memory capacity is the main reason these laptops cost far more than a typical creator notebook. It allows compatible large language models, vision-language models and generative AI workflows to run locally without having to move every project to a cloud service. Actual model size and speed will still depend on quantisation, context length, software support and the workload itself.
NVIDIA CUDA runs natively on RTX Spark, giving developers and creators access to accelerated AI and creative applications. ASUS is also integrating its MuseTree generative AI app and StoryCube media manager, alongside workflows involving ComfyUI and the open-source Hermes Agent platform.
ProArt P14 is lighter, while P16 gets the larger canvas

The ProArt P14 is the more portable of the pair. It weighs 1.48kg and measures 13.9mm thick, with a 14-inch 2880×1800 Lumina Pro OLED touchscreen running at 120Hz. ASUS lists a peak HDR brightness of 1,100 nits, 100% DCI-P3 coverage, Pantone validation and an anti-reflection coating. A 90Wh battery is fitted inside.
The ProArt P16 weighs 1.77kg but is slightly thinner at 12.9mm. Its 16-inch Lumina Pro OLED touchscreen has a 3840×2400 resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits HDR peak brightness. The larger model also gets a 99Wh battery and two M.2 SSD slots, with one occupied by the supplied 1TB drive. The P14 has one occupied M.2 slot.
Both models support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and share a useful selection of ports: three USB4 connections, one USB-A port, HDMI 2.1 and a 3.5mm audio jack. The P16 adds an SD Express 7.0 card reader, while the P14 uses an SD 4.0 reader. Charging is handled by a 140W USB-C adapter.
Malaysian preorder bundle and warranty

Both RM29,999 configurations include Windows 11 Home, Microsoft Home & Student 2024, a ProArt Mouse MD301 and a laptop sleeve. The software bundle includes one year of Microsoft 365 Basic with 100GB of cloud storage, three months of Google AI Pro, six months of Dropbox with 500GB, one year of ASUS Secure Auto-Backup with 200GB and three months of Adobe Creative Cloud All Apps for individuals.
ASUS provides a two-year international warranty and two-year Perfect Warranty coverage. Buyers should still check the exact accidental-damage terms, subscription renewal charges and monitor-bundle availability before ordering.
At RM29,999, these are specialist mobile AI workstations rather than mass-market creator laptops. The P14 is the better fit if portability matters, while the P16 trades some weight for a larger 4K display, bigger battery, faster card reader and an extra SSD slot. Preorders close on 31 October 2026, with the ProArt Display bundle offered only while stocks last.
