HONOR has maintained its position as Malaysia’s No.1 Android tablet brand by sales volume, capturing a 32% market share and holding the top position for 27 consecutive months, according to third-party market tracking cited by the company.
The figure means approximately one in every three Android tablets sold in Malaysia is an HONOR device, as demand for tablets continues to grow among students, professionals, families and content creators looking for a portable device that can handle both productivity and entertainment.
HONOR says it has consistently led Malaysia’s Android tablet market from Q2 2024 through Q2 2026, supported by products spanning entry-level models to premium flagship tablets.
HONOR MagicPad 4 Becomes Brand’s Most Successful Flagship Tablet Launch
The recently launched HONOR MagicPad 4 has also contributed to the brand’s tablet momentum in Malaysia, recording more than twice the sales of its predecessor and becoming HONOR’s most successful flagship tablet launch to date.
One of the MagicPad 4’s key features is its 2-in-1 AI PC and tablet dual-OS experience, designed to give users greater flexibility between traditional tablet usage and more PC-like productivity.
HONOR has increasingly positioned its tablets as alternatives to conventional laptops for users who do not necessarily require a full desktop operating system. Its tablet portfolio combines large displays and long battery life with productivity features, AI tools and multimedia capabilities.
The company is also expanding connectivity across its wider device ecosystem, allowing HONOR smartphones, tablets, laptops and wearables to work more closely together. Cross-platform compatibility has also been expanded to devices including Macs and iPhones, reducing some of the barriers between different operating systems.
HONOR Pad 20 Series Is Coming to Malaysia
HONOR has now confirmed that its next mainstream tablet lineup, the HONOR Pad 20 Series, will be launching in Malaysia soon.
Set to succeed the HONOR Pad 10, the new series is expected to receive upgrades across its display, performance, battery capacity and speaker system. HONOR is also bringing flagship-inspired AI productivity features to the lineup as it looks to make these capabilities available at more accessible price points.
A major focus will be productivity. The HONOR Pad 20 Series will feature PC Mode alongside a suite of productivity tools intended to bridge the gap between a portable tablet and a conventional laptop. This could make the new models particularly appealing to university students, young professionals and users whose daily workloads revolve around documents, web browsing, online meetings and other lighter computing tasks.
HONOR has yet to reveal the complete specifications, variants or Malaysian pricing for the Pad 20 Series, with more details expected to be announced closer to its official launch.
