Google has introduced the Pixel 10a, its entry-level Pixel smartphone with some slight upgrades from its predecessor, while it starts at a much lower price here from RM2299 for the 128GB model and RM2799 for the 256GB model.
The Pixel 10a looks largely similar to its predcessor on first impressions, but Google has done some slight improvements, including an entirely flushed camera array on the back and slimmer screen bezels on its 6.3-inch pOLED Actua Display, the screen also has improved Gorilla Glass 7i protection as opposed to Gorilla Glass 3.

Those hoping for a silicon upgrade will be disappointed, as the Pixel 10a still uses the old Tensor G4 chip that is less efficient than the outgoing Tensor G5 on the Pixel 10, it also still comes with 8GB RAM which may limit multitasking and AI capabilities in the near future.
On the bright side, the same 5100mAh battery now supports faster 30W wired charging and 10W wireless charging, you also have the same excellent 48MP main and 13MP ultrawide cameras from the previous model, while selfies are managed by a 13MP camera.
The Pixel 10a ships with Android 16 and will receive 7 generations of software updates, it is available in colorways of Lavender, Berry, Fog and Obsidian. You can purchase the Google Pixel 10a here.
