Looking for a great value flagship tablet? The Xiaomi Pad 6 should pique your interest as Xiaomi Malaysia has teased that the tablet is coming next week.
As a follow up to its predecessor that was released in 2021, the Xiaomi Pad 6 is powered by a slightly more powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC and features a 11-inch display, which now pushes a higher resolution at 2880×1800 resolution and refreshes at 144Hz, it will also support Dolby Vision HDR like its predecessor and the second generation Xiaomi Smart Pen active stylus.
There’s also a slight design update with slimmer screen bezels, an aluminum back, and a Xiaomi 13-like camera bump that houses a 13-megapixel camera that’s capable of taking 4K videos, while the front camera is a 8-megapixel camera.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 will also have USB-C 3.2 connectivity, which will finally allow users to have faster file transfer speeds and supports connecting external displays, an 8840mAh battery powers the tablet and supports 33W fast charging.
In terms of pricing, we can expect the tablet to be priced for less than RM1,500, as there isn’t a major specs upgrade from its predecessor and back then, the Xiaomi Pad 5 was priced at RM1,399, and we are sure this is going to be another big hit in the market.
