Raven Bridge, the mobile processors from AMD has finally be announced today that will cater to all kinds of devices mainly, 2-in-1s, convertibles and ultrathin notebooks. With a configurable 15-watt TDP, the AMD Ryzen 7 2700U and Ryzen 5 2500U processors will be using the Zen architecture featuring AMD SenseMI processor-level intelligence technology and the Radeon Vego graphics in a System-on-Chip design to achieve ultrathin notebook performance.

The Ryzen 7 2700U is the world’s fastest processor for ultrathin notebooks and will offer 3x more CPU performance, up to 2.3x GPU performance and a 58% reduction in power consumption compared to the previous generation AMD mobile processors. In addition to that, they have also included Precision Boost 2 technology which will increase processor performance from using one to many CPU cores depending on the workload.

Mobile Extended Frequency Range is also included to raise sustained performance in notebooks with great cooling solutions on notebooks certified with the technology. Finally, the efficiently designed Ryzen mobile processor is targeting to improve battery life of all devices by twice the normal amount.

In the coming weeks, we will be seeing Ryzen mobile processors systems coming from top manufacturers like Acer, HP, Lenovo and in early 2018 from Dell, Asus and other OEMs. Below is the detailed breakdown of both Ryzen mobile processors:
