A video has just surfaced on YouTube that looks like a TV commercial of the ASUS ZenFone Pegasus 4A that promotes a 120 degrees wide angle dual-camera on the back, what looks to be a beautifying function on the camera, a fast acting fingerprint scanner on the front, 4100 mAh battery that will give you 76.8 hours of standby time, 13.4 hours of HD video playback, 47.4 hours of 2G talk time and 11 hours of gaming.
Some reports indicate that it will come with a 5-inch 720p screen, it will be powered by the MediaTek MT6737V chipset, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage but it is still unknown if that can be expanded with a microSD card. The camera is a 13MP on one side and 8MP on the other and the front will be a 5MP camera. It will also come with Android 7.0 out-of-the-box.
According to a listing, the phone will be priced at 1800 Yuan and it won’t launch in the US but will be available in Europe and Asia. How true these reports are is still unknown, as the video released is not from ASUS but from another YouTube channel that seems to have got a hold of the commercial. What do you think, will this be the specs we will see in the new ASUS phone? Or is this just another Internet hoax looking to cash in on that sweet YouTube money. Whatever it is, all this information should be taken with a grain of salt until we hear the official announcement from ASUS.
