Reports indicate LG V40 will come with three rear and two front-cameras

LG is having a tough time with their phones competing against the competition who has set their dominance in the smartphone world. What can you do to get people to give you the attention you deserve? By putting five camera sensors on their upcoming flagship phone.

This rumour comes from Android Police, who said that the V40 will come with three cameras on the back, similar to the P20 Pro, but with the exception of a dual-camera setup for the front. The front-cameras will support 3D face mapping to unlock the phone. This will be the first time a phone manufacturer places a total of five cameras on their phone. The V40 is also said to look similar to the G7 ThinQ and comes with a Snapdragon 845 processor and a notch display. They are also bringing back the dedicated button to call up Assistant and the Quad DAC.

As with all rumours, it should be taken with a grain of salt, but if the rumours are true, we can expect that the V40 will be one of the more advanced camera phones in the market. LG is expected to release more information on the phone in the next coming weeks, as it is slated for a fall launch.
