CES 2016: The LG Gram 15 is here to solve your MacBook woes

LG has been renowned for making some great hardware and this time in CES 2016, the Korean firm has managed to churn out the Gram 15, a 15-inch Ultrabook that totally resembles Cupertino’s machine, except that it is really way bigger and more feature packed. Measuring at only 15mm thick and weighing 980 grams, this is now probably the world’s lightest 15-inch machine ever and to add to the premium touch, LG has made the Gram 15 available in premium gold color.

In terms of specs, the Gram 15 is fitted with either a Core i5 or i7 Skylake processor and should technically support up to 16GB of DDR3 RAM, it comes with a 1080p panel, a USB Type-C port, HDMI, USB 3.0, microUSB and microSD slot. From its thin body profile, we can also expect the Gram 15’s storage to be flash based an soldered on to the motherboard itself, and LG has claimed up to 7 hours of battery life on a single charge. No exact pricing has been revealed by LG and it might give the MacBook a run for its money if it is priced similarly, we definitely look forward to see it somewhere.
