Lenovo has launched a new ZUK flagship smartphone in China, running the latest Snapdragon 821 processor, the same chipset seen underneath the hood of most of 2016’s later flagships. The ZUK Edge features a great screen to body ratio, and runs on Android Nougat as well.
For starters, the ZUK Edge sports a 5.5-inch display at Full HD resolution covered with a 2.5D glass. The device has pretty seem bezels, giving an impressive 86.4 percent screen to body ratio. Underneath the hood, as mentioned earlier, it is powered by the flagship standard Snapdragon 821 processor with an Adreno 530 GPU. The handset is available in both 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variants, but with only one choice of 64GB storage configuration.
The ZUK Edge features a 13MP rear PDAF camera with an f/2.2 aperture, coupled with a front facing selfie shooter of 8 megapixels. The phone packs a heart rate sensor on the back and a fingerprint sensor on the front, said to unlock in a snappy 0.09 seconds. It comes equipped with a 3,100mAh battery, and supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology as well, via the USB Type-C port.
The ZUK Edge will set you back 2,299 CNY (RM1,481.59) for the 4GB RAM model and 2,499 CNY for the 6GB RAM model. There is also a ZUK Edge L available, which is a famous Korean actor Lee Min Ho edition. What do you think?
