ZTE Malaysia is keeping its momentum high with the introduction of two new Blade series smartphones to the Malaysian market, they are the Blade A72 5G and A52 Lite, and here’s what you need to know about them.
ZTE Blade A72 5G
Not to be confused with the Blade A72, the Blade A72 5G is a much improved model with 5G connectivity, it is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset mated to 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, the former can be expanded with an additional 2GB of virtual RAM to enable better multitasking, ZTE claims that the phone features a ‘5G super antenna’ to deliver ‘unrivalled level of network speed and stability’.
The Blade A72 5G comes with a 6.52-inch HD+ display that refreshes at 90Hz, a triple camera system that comprise of a 13MP primary camera, 4cm macro camera and 2MP depth camera, which is a pretty standard hardware package for a budget 5G smartphone, but its battery capacity of 4000mAh is underwhelming compared to the competition and there is no mention of any fast charging.
ZTE Blade A52 Lite
For those on a budget, the Blade A52 Lite will do the essentials well with a 6.52-inch HD+ display and is powered by a more modest UNISOC SC9863A processor, it comes with 2GB RAM and up to 64GB of storage, storage can further be expanded by a MicroSD card up to 1TB if you require more.
Camera wise, the Blade A52 Lite features a single 13MP main camera that comes with AI imaging capabilities, while selfies are being serviced by a modest 5MP front facing camera. In terms of power, the Blade A52 Lite has a 4000mAh battery and will support a regular 10W charging speed.
The ZTE Blade A52 Lite is available in 2GB RAM+32GB storage and 2GB RAM+64GB storage variants, it retails for RM389 and RM409 respectively, which you can purchase them at ZTE’s official Lazada and Shopee store.
